Prep time: 10 minutes

Bake time: 20 minutes

Total time: 30 minutes

Serves 4-6

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds sweet potatoes
  • ⅓ cup olive or avocado oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Natureul Truffle Sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375℉ and line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
  2. Thoroughly wash and dry the sweet potatoes, then peel with a paring knife or vegetable peeler.
  3. Using a mandolin or a sharp knife, slice the sweet potatoes crosswise into uniform disks, about 1/16th of an inch thick.
  4. Toss the sliced sweet potatoes in oil, truffle sauce, salt, and pepper, making sure the slices are evenly coated, and arrange the rounds in a single layer on the baking sheets. Be sure not to crowd the slices.
  5. Bake for 7-10 minutes, then flip the sweet potatoes to the other side using tongs or a wide, flat spatula. Bake for 5-7 more minutes or until golden.
  6. Remove from the oven and allow them to cool for at least five minutes. Serve alone or with a dipping sauce (like our truffle hummus recipe!).

How to Store Baked Sweet Potato Truffle Chips

To store the baked sweet potato truffle chips, allow them to cool completely and then transfer them to an airtight container. Store at room temperature in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight for 5-7 days.

It’s not recommended to refrigerate or freeze baked sweet potato chips, as the texture will change significantly once thawed. Stick to eating them within a week for freshest results.

Tips for Making Baked Sweet Potato Truffle Chips

Choose the right sweet potatoes. The best sweet potatoes for chips will be oblong, smooth, and without any sprouts or blemishes. They should be the same width all the way around (or at least most of the way. You’ll need to slice off the ends where the sweet potato gets more narrow.

Use the right tools. A mandolin or similar slicing tool can help you churn out the most precise, uniform slices in a quick manor. The more uniform the slices, the more uniform the baking.

Keep an eye on the first batch. You’ll need to monitor the first batch of sweet potato chips while they’re in the oven–otherwise, you run the risk of burning them. Supervising them closely will allow you to make tweaks to the cooking time and temperature, or even pull them to prevent burning, if necessary.

How to make Black Truffle Hummus Dip (Easy Recipe)

SEPRA USA LLC

Black Truffle Hummus Dip

This whipped-style hummus is as smooth as silk–why? Because you’ll shell the chickpeas (or use pre-shelled chickpeas) before blending the ingredients together. It’s a little extra work, but it pays off majorly in the long run. Served with seedy crackers, pita chips, toasted bread or fresh vegetables for dipping, this mouth-watering black truffle hummus dip is the perfect party pleaser. Your friends will beg you for the recipe!

Natureul Black Truffle Sauce really makes the difference between a so-so hummus and an out-of-this-world appetizer. Slovenian black truffles, mushrooms, capers, oils, and spices are blended together to create this luxurious spread that instantly elevates anything it’s added to. Once you try it on this dip, you’ll want to add it to every meal–and we won’t stop you!

Prep time: 10 minutes

Total time: 10 minutes

Serves 3-4 people

Ingredients

  • 1 16 oz can of chickpeas, shells removed
  • ¼ cup aquafaba (reserved liquid from the canned chickpeas)
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Natureul Black Truffle Sauce, plus more for serving
  • 2 tablespoons avocado or olive oil, plus more for serving
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons tahini sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender or food processor, stopping to scrape the sides down when necessary. Pulse until the ingredients are combined, then run on high power until the mixture becomes smooth.
  2. Using a rubber spatula, transfer the mixture into your serving bowl and smooth the surface with the back of a spoon to create wells.
  3. Drizzle extra oil into the wells you created and use the back of a spoon to add more black truffle sauce to garnish the hummus. Work from the center ring out and balance it on each side for even distribution when dipping.
  4. Serve with crackers, pita chips, and/or vegetables for dipping!

Tips for Making Black Truffle Hummus Dip

If you aren’t a big fan of sesame or you’re out of tahini, you can swap the tahini in this recipe for 2 tablespoons of Natureul Tigernut Spread in Original flavor. The flavor won’t change a ton, but instead of intense sesame flavor, you’ll get a much more mild, earthy tigernut undertone in this delicious hummus dip.

Shelling the chickpeas gives the hummus its exceptionally smooth texture, but if you’re in a  hurry you can skip this step! It’ll add a little more fiber and just a hint of graininess to the hummus, but some people prefer it that way.

Make it spicy! Use the Chili Black Truffle Sauce instead of the original flavor to add a bit of heat to this savory hummus. It’s the perfect amount of kick–not too much and not too little–with the same rich truffle and mushroom flavor of the original sauce, perfect for spicing up this hummus. You can also intensify the flavor by adding more truffle sauce to the base of the hummus.

You can customize this recipe with the addition of any of your favorite vegetables. The ones mentioned here are merely suggestions and you can experiment with all kinds of combinations! Additionally, you can turn this wrap into a sandwich by swapping out the tortilla for a few slices of dense bread like sourdough or whole-grain breads with a thick crust and a heavy bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 large (burrito-size) wrap or tortilla
  • 2 tbsp Natureul Black Truffle Sauce in Classic Flavor
  • ½ cup raw spinach, left whole
  • ½ sliced tomato
  • ½ sliced cucumber
  • ½ cup veggie sprouts (finer sprouts like broccoli sprouts or kale microgreens work best for wrapping purposes, but you can use your favorite kind!)

Recipe

  1. Spread the black truffle sauce on the tortilla using a knife or the back of a spoon.
  2. Lay down a bed of spinach, making it as flat as possible, and then layer the cucumber, tomato, and the veggie sprouts on top of it! Because of the unstable shape, it’s usually best if the veggie sprouts are added last, but you can arrange the other layers any way you wish.
  3. Roll the tortilla away from you, enclosing the ingredients and tucking the ends as you go to make a spill-proof container for your veggies.
  4. Enjoy!
