Prep time: 2 minutes

Total time: 10 minutes

Serves 3-4

Ingredients

Stovetop popcorn:

  • ½ cup popcorn kernels
  • 2 tbsp olive, avocado, or coconut oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp Natureul Truffle Sauce, Original flavor

Microwave popcorn

  • 1 brown paper lunch bag
  • ½ cup popcorn kernels
  • 1 teaspoon olive, avocado, or coconut oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tbsp Natureul Truffle Sauce, Original flavor

Instructions

Stovetop popcorn:

  1. In a large, heavy pot or saucepan, heat the oil over medium-high heat. It should take 2-4 minutes for the oil to reach the correct temperature.
  2. Test the oil by adding one or two popcorn kernels to the oil. If they pop, it’s ready.
  3. Turn off the heat and add the rest of the popcorn kernels to the pot. Quickly cover it with a lid and begin to shake the pot back and forth to distribute the kernels and coat them in the hot oil.
  4. Place the pot back on the stove and turn the heat back up to medium while continuously shaking the pot back and forth. Once the kernels start popping, tilt the lid to allow the steam to vent out.
  5. Once the popping has slowed down to one kernel every few seconds, turn off the heat and quickly pour the kernels into a waiting serving bowl.
  6. Sprinkle with salt and stir in the truffle sauce to coat the popcorn.
  7. Eat and enjoy!

Microwave popcorn:

  1. Add the popcorn kernels and oil to a bowl and toss to coat. Transfer to the brown paper bag.
  2. Fold the top of the brown paper bag twice to seal it.
  3. Microwave on high power for 2 ½ - 3 ½ minutes or until the popping noise slows to two-second intervals.
  4. Open the brown paper bag and add the salt and truffle sauce, then seal and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds to coat the popcorn.
  5. Pour into a serving bowl and enjoy your tasty truffle popcorn!
